Political bitterness

The people of Fiji are asking the leadership of the opposition political parties to put the nation at heart and think of everything they do.

They should overcome the animosity to inspire “humble service”. I am distressed by this acrimonious relationship between the NFP and SODELPA against the FijiFirst Party.

The current political tone and debate demonstrates the root of political bitterness is growing rapidly and unfortunately is being nurtured by some political parties .

Sadly, what they spew is a killer, rather than eradicating the bad stuff that defiles democracy they are encouraging it for political gain.

The root of bitterness is underground, it is easy to hide and camouflage but as it grows downward, digging deeper and latching on to anything and anyone.

It can destroy this nation .
