Red tourism helps im­prove em­ploy­ment rate, in­comes of lo­cal vil­lagers in Sichuan

In re­cent years, the de­vel­op­ment of red tourism, which refers to vis­its to his­tor­i­cal sites with a rev­o­lu­tion­ary legacy, has helped im­prove the em­ploy­ment rate and in­crease the in­comes of lo­cal vil­lagers in Yi­hai Vil­lage.

With the es­tab­lish­ment of the red tourism scenic area and the im­ple­men­ta­tion of poverty re­lief poli­cies, more than 110 poverty-stricken fam­i­lies in the vil­lage have got out of poverty.
