Po­lice have clas­si­fied the death of a 19-year-old wom- an whose body was found

near the Si­ga­toka River last Fri­day as mur­der. This was con­firmed by Po­lice spokesper­son Ana Naisoro. She ear­lier said the vic­tim was last seen and heard ar­gu­ing with her part­ner at their home at Nabitu Set­tle­ment last Fri­day morn­ing be­fore she ran away. Nearby res­i­dents con­ducted a search where she was later found ly­ing mo­tion­less near the river bank. She had in­juries.

Po­lice are re­quest­ing for in­for­ma­tion on the where­abouts of 24-year-old Joji Tu­rukoya Katzuky who is wanted for ques­tion­ing. Mr Katzuky was last seen with the vic­tim and in­ves­ti­ga­tors are look­ing to ques­tion him. Any­one with in­for­ma­tion is re­quested to call the Western Di­vi­sion Com­mand Cen­tre on 9905457.
