Sen ap­pointed CEO of Hous­ing Author­ity

Af­ter an ex­ten­sive in­ter­na­tional and Fiji wide search for a new Chief Ex­ec­u­tive Of­fi­cer, the Hous­ing Author­ity of Fiji has an­nounced the ap­point­ment of Robert Sen to the role.

Chair­man Nes­bitt Hazel­man says the Author­ity is de­lighted that Mr Sen comes with the right skills set and per­sonal ca­pa­bil­ity to lead the Author­ity.

Mr Sen has an out­stand­ing ca­reer to date in the pub­lic and pri­vate sec­tors where his pri­mary re­spon­si­bil­i­ties in­volved man­age­ment and fi­nance.

Mr Sen im­pressed the Author­ity with his wide-rang­ing ex­ec­u­tive ex­pe­ri­ence, his qual­i­fi­ca­tions in Ac­count­ing

and Ad­min­is­tra­tion, to­gether with his so­cial mo­ti­va­tion and ap­pre­ci­a­tion of the di­ver­sity of peo­ple in our work­place and our cus­tomers, and his very strong fi­nan­cial and busi­ness acu­men.

He comes to us with an ex­ten­sive ex­pe­ri­ence in or­gan­i­sa­tional im­prove­ment, and change man­age­ment to build a re­freshed mind­set to com­ple­ment skills and ex­pe­ri­ence, fo­cus­ing on ac­count­ing pro­ce­dures in­clud­ing Tax poli­cies, bud­get, con­tract and project man­age­ment fore­cast, hu­man re­source, in­for­ma­tion tech­nol­ogy and OHS. Hav­ing worked in bod­ies such as Fiji Roads Author­ity will al­low him to use his wealth of knowl­edge and ex­pe­ri­ence to shift Hous­ing Author­ity into a new di­rec­tion. Mr Sen will com­mence the role on Septem­ber 16, 2019.
