Ms Moala, 23, who is from Tubou, Lakeba, Lau, is pursuing her law degree at the University of the South Pacific (USP) as a second-year student. She has maternal links to Urata Village in Savusavu and is sponsored by the Market Vendors Association.

She is advocating on mitigating the effects of climate change and ways to mitigate it. She lists her hobbies as singing and dancing.

Ms Saiyad, 22, is a law student at the Fiji National University. She is from Cuvu in Sigatoka and is sponsored by the Nadroga District Council of Social Services. She lists her hobbies as dancing, driving and photography.

Ms Saiyad will advocate on the urgent need to deal with social issues such as rape, teenage pregnancy and suicide. She feels these social ills are on the rise in the country and they require our immediate attention to save lives.
