10 more villages on Walesi grid; can now watch Rugby World Cup
Ten villages in Wainibuka will now have the privilege of watching the Rugby World Cup from the comfort of their own homes.
This was after the Walesi Digital Televison launch at Naveicovatu Village yesterday.
The 10 villages include Natokalau, Malabe, Naveicovatu, Nasautoka, Nabouva, Wailotua 1, Wailotua 2, Nayavu, Naqia and Wailevu.

“We are so grateful to this Government, just last week we requested for Walesi when the AttorneyGeneral came to our village and he made this happen a week later. “We are blessed.”
Ms Delai said that now they could now watch the news and be up to date with what was happening not only in Fiji but the world.
She added that only two houses had a Sky TV set in their homes and their community hall had a Walesi set so during the Fiji games those houses would be packed and sometimes they might not have a chance to watch the games at all. “This weekend we will be cheering for our boys from our own homes and we are looking forward to it,” she said. Meanwhile Walesi has now given away more than 100,000 set top boxes and has installed Walesi set to more than 300 community halls in the interiors and maritime zones. Its Digital App has more than 300,000 users.
