“I will try and treasure every moment of it by spending it with my wife. We have been dating for a while now and to finally tie the knot is a blessing to us as a couple.” “Family support has been wonderful to us. It’s something I hold close to my heart, my wedding today means a lot.”

Saulo and Ma’afu received a lot of accolades during the 2015 World Cup when they anchored the Flying Fijians scrum that held its own against Tier 1 nations like Australia, England and Wales.

They were also at prop when the Flying Fijians beat France 21-14 at Stade de France in Paris, last November.

Saulo had been playing for London Irish since 2017 before his contract expired and was approached by Agen.

The former Suva rep said he’s returning to his club to continue with his club commitment.

“I will soon return to settle down with my new club but at the same time I’ll prepare myself for the 2023 world cup.

“It is very important to stay fit and be consistent since there are a lot of young players coming through the system and they’ll provide a huge challenge.”
