Second witness claims she saw Prince Andrew dancing with Epstein ‘sex slave’
London: A second “credible” witness has come forward claiming she saw Prince Andrew dancing with Jeffrey Epstein’s “sex slave” in a London nightclub.
The development comes as the U.S. lawyer, who says she has tracked down the two women, said the FBI “is looking into” the Duke. Attorney Lisa Bloom, who represents five victims of the royal’s former pal Epstein, says she has spoken with the witnesses who allege they saw Andrew in Tramp nightclub in March 2001.
The billionaire’s “sex slave” Virginia Giuffre, has claimed she was ordered to have sex with the Duke after being trafficked to London on board the American’s private jet.
Once in the capital, she says she went to Tramp with the Prince, Epstein and British socialite Ghislaine Maxwell.
Ms Giuffre, now 35, claims she danced with the Andrew who sweated profusely at the time before returning to Maxwell’s house where they had sex.
The Duke, 59, vehemently denied her allegations as he appeared on
BBC Newsnight saying that on the night she alleges they were together he had been to Pizza Express with his daughter, Beatrice and then stayed at home all night. Ms Bloom told the Mail on Sunday: “The first woman, a Londoner, contacted me after she saw Prince Andrew’s interview.
“She was very disappointed that he denied knowing Virginia and denied being at the nightclub. That’s what spurred her to come forward. No-one should be above the law.” “The FBI is looking into Prince Andrew. They want to speak to him. He’s said he wants to co-operate with law enforcement, and yet it doesn’t seem to be happening, so I would like to help this move forward.
“The woman was in Tramp with a friend who said, ‘Look, there’s Prince Andrew.’
“She looked at him [Andrew] and was very struck by him because she’d never been in a room with a Royal before, and she never has been since. She stared at him.
“He was with a young woman who she now knows was Virginia Roberts (now Giuffre). She remembers that Prince Andrew was smiling and seemed to be happy, and Virginia was not. Virginia not smiling made an impression too.
“I don’t want to go into too much detail at this stage, but both of them are credible witnesses.
“We are at the stage where we are investigating and corroborating and then we will take them [the witnesses] to the FBI. The problem Prince Andrew has is that people meet him, or even see him, and it’s very memorable for them.
“It’s not memorable for him because he meets people every day, but people remember meeting a member of the Royal Family.” Ms Bloom flew to London last week to meet the first Tramp nightclub witness who contacted her after watching Prince Andrew’s Newsnight interview last month. The development came as the Mirror revealed an unnamed second woman, allegedly abused by Epstein, claims she had sex with Andrew. While being interviewed by Emily Maitlis, he suggested the picture could have been faked as he said he did not regret his relationship with Epstein despite the convicted paedophile being accused of sex attacks by dozens of women. A spokesperson for Buckingham Palace declined to comment.
