Real Tonga Airlines Seeks Ok to Fly Jet on Nadi- Nuku’alofa Route
Real Tonga Airlines is looking at leasing a jet, once they receive approvals to service the Nadi - Nuku’alofa and Nuku’alofa- Auckland routes. This was confirmed yesterday the general manager of Rosie Holidays, Eroni Puamau.
Rosie is the Real Tonga agent in
Fiji.
Mr Puamau confirmed that the airline has already applied to the Civil Aviation Authority in Fiji for the Nadi route approval. “Their expansion into Nadi and Auckland firstly depends on approvals from both country’s civil aviation authorities,” Mr Puamau said.
“Once this has been done, then we will look at acquiring or leasing a bigger aircraft, probably a Boeing 737 size to service these new routes.”
