Meet Keshvi Sukul, a passionate medical professional who set up Health Plus Diagnostics Pte Ltd in September 2016.

Health Plus Diagnostics Pte Ltd is a private diagnostic facility that provides a wide range of diagnostic tests such as blood tests, ultrasound scans, digital x-ray, spirometry and audiometry.
“I had the idea of a private diagnostic facility which could providxe essential diagnostic services at affordable prices.
“We have three branches around the country.
“Our main branch is located at Level 1 Nands Mall, Nabua while the other two are located at 17 Sagayam Road Nadi Town and main street Sigatoka.
“In 2018, I received the Westpac Women in Business Aspiring Entrepreneur of the Year,”she said.
Mrs Sukul was the recipient of the Youth Entrepreneur of the Year Award at the 2018 FDB National Small and Medium Enterprises Awards.
The Youth Entrepreneur of the Year Award is sponsored by the Ministry of Industry, Trade and Tourism. She described winning the award as her proudest moment.
“This was the second award I received within a year. “It was a privilege to be recognised at such a platform for the work I have put into building this business.
“It has given me the validation I needed that
I was heading in the right direction.
Award’s Impact
“Professionally, you gain more credibility as a person and as a business owner and as a recipient of such an award, she described.
Along with the award, she received prize money of $5,000 which she had invested in purchasing new equipment for the business.
Business Growth
As for her expansion plans for the business, she said was off to a good start in 2020 through its online service. “We have seen very good growth over the years, of course there are economic factors that do affect growth, but overall we have been quite steady in terms of growth.
“We have a lot of expansion plans, some in the near future and some spread over the years as it needs to correlate with our financial planning.
“We have started 2020 on a good note by making our services online for better accessibility to patients and doctors, invested in good software to manage our work and limit the use of paper,” said Mrs Sukul.
2019 FDB National SME Awards.
Mrs Sukul is vying for an award at the 2019 FDB National SME Awards.
“I thank FDB for hosting these awards again this year and giving small and medium enterprises the opportunity to get recognised and appreciated for their work,” she said.
The deadline for submitting applications has been extended to January 17, 2020.
