Fiji Airways to Operate Nadi-Sydney, Sydney-Nadi Repatriation Flights

Fiji Airways will operate a repatriation flight between Nadi-Sydney-Nadi on Friday, May 22. A Fiji Airways statement released yesterday said: “This flight is to assist citizens and residents to return home to Australia, as well as bring Fijians in Australia and other countries home should they meet the transit requirements.”
The acceptance criteria is as follows:
From Nadi to Sydney – only Australian citizens and residents will be able to board. Other citizens wishing to connect from Sydney onwards are requested to check with Australian Immigration on details of entry.
■From Sydney to Nadi – only Fiji passport holders will be able to board.
■A●● guests may be subject to further boarding requirements at check-in.
“Guests can book tickets online at www.fijiairways.com or by calling the airline’s Reservations Centre,” Fiji Airways said.
“Guests holding unused Fiji Airways’ tickets for Nadi-Sydney, Sydney-Nadi, or any other valid Fiji Airways flights are also able to book themselves on this flight at no additional cost by contacting Fiji Airways Reservations with their booking reference details at hand.”
Limited seats are available on all repatriation flights.
“As with all recent evacuation flights arrivals, all arriving guests into Fiji will be required to go into self-isolation at a Fijian Governmentmandated facility for up to 28-days.
“They will not be able to go to their homes or residences. Per the directive of authorities, transit passengers cannot be uplifted on evacuation and repatriation flights to Fiji.”
