revula Heights Villas is contribDuting

to the promotion of the local tourism market with “Steal of a Deal” rates from June 1.

Owners Russell and Seni Howorth said the decision to remain open for business was aimed at mitigating the economic impacts on unemployment.

Located on the Matadrevula Estate in Serua, the villas are a 70 minutes drive from Suva and five minutes off the Queens Road.

Over the past three years, the duo built a reputation for privacy and exclusive villa accommodation in the near pristine environment of Serua.

Reflecting on recent months, Mrs Howorth said the last guests checked out on March 18 as a result of the coronavirus restrictions. “TC Harold at the beginning of April simply made a very difficult situation worse for us although damage to our infrastructure was minimal.

“But we have been blessed with bookings from the local market since the Suva lockdown was lifted on April 17.”

The couple soon realised the local market offered an opportunity for

the business.

“We are providing local guests an opportunity to escape to freedom from the stay at home and related restrictions, and enjoy the comfort of the privacy and exclusivity we

provide.”
