Ramada Suites Open for Locals

Ramada Suites By Wyndham Wailoaloa Beach Fiji in Nadi will reopen on September 1 under Tourism Fiji’s Love Our Locals initiative.

Operations manager Theresa Sing said two levels, 16 suites, would be opened up for the local market. The $16.5 million property was opened in October 2018 by developers Mark and Janice Hinton.

The Hintons are also the owners of Smugglers Beach Resort. They bought the Ramada franchise from Ramada, which is part of the Wyndham Group. Ms Sing said Ramada certainly had some features which has set it apart from other tourist accommodation op- erators.

Although some of the units are privately owned, the property is not considered time-share as the units are managed and operated as resort accommodation.

“The suites are fully contained with some that are for two adults and one infant and others for two adults and two children.”

Ms Sing said other suites include two bedroom Ocean View that could take up to six people and two bedroom Beach Front that could also take a maximum of six people.

Ramada also has a privately owned spa within the complex.
