Scouts Council Donate School Items for Kadavu Schools
Fiji Red Cross Society ( FRCS) will be distributing and transporting school materials to children impacted by TC Harold in Kadavu. These materials were donated by the
Council yesterday.
It included 18 cartons of of stationeries.
The materials will be distributed to 10 primary schools and one high school in Kadavu.

Red Cross for helping them in transporting and distributing the school materials.
“Thank you for ensuring us that these materials will be distributed to the unfortunate children impacted by the devastating impact of TC Harold,” Mr Goundar said.
He said it took four weeks to collect these items from seven schools in Nasinu which were Bhawani Dayal Primary, Nasinu Muslim
Primary, Makoi Muslim Primary, Narere Primary, Nasinu Sangam Primary, Rishikul Primary and Rishikul Nadera Primary School.
He was happy that they managed to collect more than expected in these challenging times.
“The parents were very generous towards this drive and even though we asked for used items, all parents donated new materials.
“I thank all the seven schools for their hard work and generosity towards this drive,” he said.
Fiji Red Cross director general, IIisapeci Rokotunidau, said they would be working with the Educational officer in Kadavu to deliver these items. She thanked the members of the scouts for trusting the organisation.
