Global Group Initiative a promising meat provider
Global Group Initiative ( Fiji) is a Small Medium Enterprise (SME) that recently launched amidst the COVID-19 pandemic.
As an importer and wholesaler, the business can only hope to be a promising meat provider in the not so distant future.
Whilst facing their own challenges, Director Joji Fatiaki says: “We have been so blessed with the supportive network of SMEs in the market.”
He says that a good number of SMEs have been instrumental in coaching and giving ideas on how the business could leverage off the current economic situation.
Experience
Whilst every other entrepreneur is looking to sustain themselves, Global Group Initiatives (Fiji) is only just starting.
However, they have seen the benefit of networking with other business people who understand and have experienced similar challenges to start-up businesses like theirs.
Initially, the business was supposed to launch in April 2020.
But due to the global crisis or the pandemic the business had to reassess its ability to do so and decided to shelve the idea of an event until further notice.
Thankfully, the borders being open for cargo and shipping has seen the business begin to pick up momentum with their first container of meat from NZ allowing them to a slow but steady start.
Father’s Day Draw
The Global Group Initiative (Fiji) hosted its Father’s Day Draw yesterday.
Draw details will be released today.
It was their first ever public event since launch of business earlier in June 2020.
