Can you tell us a bit about ECO Pest & Hygiene Solutions?

EPHS is in the business of providing pest control and hygiene services to both commercial and residential customers.

EPHS conducts its business based on the five core strategic thrusts - customer service and care, developing capability, operational excellence, cost savings and growth.

Currently we have a good variety of customers ranging from food industry, supermarkets, property management companies, Government departments, garment factories, restaurants, logistics and our loyal residential customers ,who time and again have been utilising our services.

In light of COVID-19, EPHS prides itself in being able to offer sanitisation services particularly to our corporate clients including disinfecting client premises and providing hygiene products.

How does your company handle competition?

EPHS uses the latest new generation low toxicity chemicals and products as our priority is to provide eco-friendly services to our clients.

Our objective is to ensure the health and safety of people, our customers and non-target species and the preservation of our environment and ecosystems.

Our pest management programmes are based on best practice and international standards of excellence.

We are committed to continual improvement of our performance including contract and account management Ssstems.

To achieve this objective, we work

closely with our customers to achieve continual improvement and innovation in working procedures, products, service delivery and contractual arrangements.

All services are guaranteed to comply with our stringent specifications and local government and health department regulations in line with best practice standards.

Service standards are maintained at a high level via regular quality inspections and site audits performed by our management team.

In light of COVID-19, how is business?

Like every business, our company has had to realign certain strategies in light of this pandemic.

However, we are happy to note that we are track and we are happy to note that we are performing fairly well by adjusting and adopting to new business environment.

Tell us a bit about your investments into your future operations?

We are continuously researching and developing to ensure that the company delivers the most cost-efficient and effective solution with quality and services that comply with all relevant regulations and individual customer needs.

The company will soon be launching our own range of branded Hygiene units including Air Freshener Dispenser, Hand Soap/ Hand Sanitizer Dispenser and Sanitary Bin Units. These dispensers have been customdesigned in Malaysia and will soon be available for our current and potential contracted business clients.

We will also be investing in our fleet and human resources based on business performance in the coming year.

What are some of your long-term business plans?

EPHS is also looking at environment friendly ways of conducting pest control services.

As such we are currently exploring procurement of plant & machinery to Fiji from overseas that could meet the requirements of our customers.

There are expansion plans as well in the pipeline including the potential opening of a branch in Nadi post COVID-19.

What are some of the challenges faced by the company in light of COVID-19?

Expectations versus delivery. We started the business in March with a business plan for a usual year.

But one month into operations, we’ve had to re-engineer our business models and adopt to a brand-new business environment
