WEATHER IN BA
It must have been very hot in Ba. A man was seen walking around naked this week. He took a stroll to the service station and to the park next to it. When the Police Officers approached the man, he quickly ran to the park where his clothes were and started dressing himself. Must be the weather.
SCAM, THE NEW NORM
Scam is becoming a new norm for many. Despite the media reports on the Nation lockdown a man in his 60’s still sent out money to his online female friend for her tickets and accommodation. By calculation, the expected visitor should have arrived three weeks ago.
STOLEN PROPERTY?
A man chased off two men from his compound yesterday morning. One was on a coconut tree, while the other was collecting the coconuts thrown down at him. By the time the two were spotted, they had gathered a substantial amount of coconuts and were already carrying a sack full. The two quickly went off. That begs a concerning question. If coconut sellers are selling stolen coconuts, are the people buying coconuts purchasing stolen property?
GREETINGS
Fijians have been voted as the friendliest people on earth. Always smiling and greeting. Sometimes even saying salutations from passing vehicles or even across the road. A group of boys selling coconuts at Albert Park had a big shoutout for remanded prisoners being transported by the boys in blue. And the gestures were reciprocated quite loudly as well.
