2 Fijians likely to Start
Rising Suva hooker, Tevita Ikanivere, could start for the Barbarians as they take on England for the Quilter Cup in Twickenham on Sunday. Ikanivere has been working on his lineout throws during training at the Barbarians base in London yesterday.
Ikanivere played for the Flying Fijians in their 33-31 win over the Barbarians in Twickenham, last November.
It is understood that Nadroga openside flanker Rusiate Nasove could also start while the rest of the Fijian players could come in as substitutes.
The Barbarians are coach by Flying Fijians head coach Vern Cotter and assisted by Glen Jackson and former Scotland lock Nathan Hines.
A rising star at Bath Rugby, Tom de Glanville joins the Black and White, following in his father’s footsteps some 27 years on. He will be looking to impress England coach Eddie Jones.
Exciting Harlequins prop Simon Kerrod adds further strength to the front row, completing a squad that will be aiming to give England a challenging encounter ahead of the completion of their Six Nations campaign and Autumn Nations Cup.
