NO RICE RANGOLI

During a Diwali celebration last week a university academic spoke to students and staff urging them not to use rice for their rangoli. The academic said rice is a source of food for many and there are a lot of hungry people in the world.

She hopes that a different approach can be adopted in future celebrations.
