THE RICH HOMELESS

Homeless people are seen almost in every corner of our towns and cities these days, especially along the walkway on High Street in Toorak, Suva.

But what you seldom see is a homeless person taking ownership and feeling ever so comfortable of his/her surrounding.

Spotted during Diwali, they were seen moving to the opposite side of the road as shop owners had to give the front of their shop a good clean for Diwali. Just when people were feeling sorry for them, one was seen leaning against the wall with shades on, a cup of tea in one hand and mobile phone on the other. Like a boss!
