- SEREANA SALALO SUVA Edited by Leone Cabenatabua

The Vodafone Premier League champions, Flow Valves Suva will be out to do their best at the upcoming Vodafone Fiji FACT tournament. Suva Football Association president, Ritesh Pratap, said yesterday winning the 2020 Fiji FACT tournament would be a plus for them.

Suva are in Group B along with defending champions Nadi, Lautoka and Navua while hosts Labasa, Rewa, Ba and Nasinu are in Group A.

“It will be a good competition for us,” Pratap said.

“The league was the most important one that everyone wanted to win. A win in the FACT tournament, is just a bonus for us. Definitely we are going for a win at the Fiji FACT.”

He indicated that five of Suva’s key players may miss the tournament due to work.

They are captain, Filipe Baravilala, Remueru Tekiate, Sairusi Nalaubu, Madhavan Goundar and Joeli Ranitu, who are employed by the Police Special Response Unit.

“Apart from the five players who are on work duty, other players are there to train.

“At the moment we are not really sure when they are coming back. We are still awaiting the response from the Fiji Police Force,” he said.
