DERENALAGI NAMED IN TODAY’S DIGICEL ESCOTT GRAND FINAL AGAINST POLICE BLUE

Fijian 7s captain Meli Derenalagi is going to play for Freshe’t Navy in today’s Digicel Escott Shield final at Albert Park, Suva.

Derenalagi has been named at blindside flanker and is expected to play a big role as they take on Blue Gas Police Blue who are going to be led by No.8 James Brown. Also joining Derenalagi is former Flying Fijians tighthead prop Manasa Saulo.

Eleven players who played for the Ram Sami sponsored- Suva rugby team that won the Skipper Cup have been included in the Navy’s Match 23 squad.

The battle of the 107-year prestigiou­s title kicks-off at 4pm.

SRU executive Tevita Tuiloa said they look forward to an exciting day of rugby and have invited everyone to be at Albert Park.

The admission to the ground is as follows: Grandstand- $10, Ground$5 adults, $2 children U12.
