Navy teams for Jet Set 10s

Suva Rugby Union’s Escott Shield champions Navy will take part in the inaugural Jet Set 10s at Prince Charles Park, Nadi on January 29- 30.

Tournament organiser Jeff Tamata said Navy would field two teams, Navy White and Navy Blue.

Teams that have confirmed participation includes Nadi Rugby champions Al-Hamd Korotabu, Momi Tigers, Yavusania, Ravoravo (Sabeto), Naduruniu (Nakavu), Bukuya Sydney, Dominion Brothers, Yako, Western Suburb, Kwaiyata Nasaunivalu, Saunaka, Mosi, Navoci Babas, Western Marine (Narewa), Veiyasana, Gaunavou (Namotomoto), Sigatoka Bulls, Nabila, Vatutu Green, Lomawai, and Natalau Green.

Not forgetting former big guns Nadi Cavaliers, Vuda Kings, Seabreeze, Conua, St John (Serua), Cross of Victory, Tovolea (Moala, Nadi), Bavu, and Police (Nadi).

Tamata said there were few teams that were fielding more than one team and some even have three teams.

“Our objective is to play host 80 teams in the biggest 10s in the country,” he said. “Funds raised are to assist in building a gym for Nadi Rugby.
