How it started

The mother of two is a stay home mum; she started her business in 2013.

“As a housewife and I did not want to be too dependent on my husband all the time because I had my own dreams,” she said.

“My family from New Zealand send me clothes to sell and that was how it all started.

“When I started I did not have any money to invest. I started saving money and that was how the business started to roll out.

“Having this online business makes me independent and I could help my husband.”

The third year law student said despite challenges the business had been thriving.

“Due to COVID-19 my China supplies stopped and now I have a local supplier who I am grateful for,” she said. “The gift hampers that we have are all affordable.

“We always ask our customers their budget and we work according to that.”

Future Plans

“We are hoping to purchase a bigger vehicle so that people from nearby villages can purchase from us and of course we will deliver for free,” she said.

“We also have plans to register another online business and everything sold is made locally.

“At one point I had nothing, today I own four cars all because of my online business.

“I am also able to look after my parents who are in their 70s.”
