Regardless the size of your vehicle you should always have it covered by insurance. Kaks Marketing (Fiji) Limited general manager, Krishneel Nadan, said with a fleet of 22 cars they always made sure that all their vehicles were insured.

“It is convenient, time and money saving to have your vehicles covered,” Mr Nadan said.

KML is the major supplier of hygiene, janitorial product, cleaning chemicals and equipment and the leading provider of hygiene and appearance solutions through floor care, food sanitises and pest control products.

“We are based in Raiwaqa, Suva and we have sales personnel in Nadi, Labasa, Lautoka and Taveuni to service our clients in those areas,” he said.

The family business is headed by his father who is originally from Taveuni.

Their company vehicles range from small cars to big delivery trucks that deliver industrial chemicals to hotels and businesses on Viti Levu and Vanua Levu.

Service

“In the 30 years of our service we have not experienced any big accidents with our vehicles except for bumps on the sides and at the back.

“This could have cost us a lot of money and time; this includes having to wait for the Police to clear things first.

“With our insurance company we have saved a lot of money. This is because an accident can cost you four times more than what you had spent on the vehicle depending on the magnitude of the accident. “Now with our roads busy with the increase in the number of vehicles it is advisable to have all your vehicles covered.

“We are lucky with our insurance company that our insurance is on a discounted rate.

“This is because we have been with them since we started our business.

“Our relationship is good that in a matter of days after an accident our vehicles are repaired and are back on the road.”

Lately on Mr Nadan’s collection is the latest vehicle on the market, a Nissan GTR (racing car).

“This vehicle is street driven, and also in the capable hands of our insurance company.”

The company employs 26 people.

Tower Insurance has invested its new motor insurance products on its digital platforms.

This was said by the Tower Insurance country manager for Fiji, Joseph Magnus, while discussing the significant technology platforms the company used for investment.

Mr Magnus said Tower Insurance had also invested on technology platforms which included the development of their remote working capability, re-platform of their core systems and the introduction of a fully integrated digital platform.

“We have the best claims experience in the market and the largest distribution network which includes banks, agents and digital channels,” Mr Magnus said.

“We’ve had very positive feedback from our customers on our digital platforms as it is easy and convenient to use,” he said.

He said accessibility was a key pillar for the Tower Insurance business strategy and having a 24/7 online platform for motor products helped this pillar.

“While we have started with having motor insurance products on our new digital platform, we are working on getting home and contents on it too this year,” he said.

He also said the company had invested into the Fiji business since 1874, a demonstration of its commitment to Fiji.

“Tower Insurance is the largest comprehensive fire and cyclone insurer in Fiji.”
