Wearing Fiji 2021 promises freshness
With vibrant, and intricately designed collections of jewellery up her sleeve, Anastasia Georgiou is ready to debut at the Wearing Fiji 2021 Show as a jewellery designer.
Although her first solo show, Ms Georgiou has been designing jewellery for the past 11 years under her brand Star Jewels (Fiji).
“I am also nervous, but also proud of myself for landing a solo show after 11 years in the jewellery designing industry.”
She will be featuring 15 pieces for her solo show.
“I am also collaborating with two fashion designers to make 15 pieces each.”
Ms Georgiou had previously collaborated with fashion designer Temesia Tuicaumia for Wearing Fiji’s first show last year.

Wearing Fiji 2021 show is set to bring freshness, and new opportunities to the country’s glamour world.
According to fashion designer,
Temesia Tuicaumia, the show’s theme ‘Vanua’ will be inspiring the various fashion designs on the runway on May 1, 2021 at the Grand Pacific Hotel.
He said new prints could be expected from designers.
“Exciting runway formations could also be expected, with the models walking the ramp in pairs, and in threes for the various fashion lines,” he said. He said the majority of the models were new and rehearsals have spanned six consecutive weekends.
“A partnership has also formed between the 13 student designers from the Wearing Fiji 2021 fashion project and the budding models who would be walking the runway for the first time,” Mr Tuicaumia said.
The Wearing Fiji Show will feature seven designers:

13 students designers will also feature their collection along with accessories designer Tefui and jewellery designer, Anastasia Georgiou.
