Al Hamd Smart Living has continued to lend their helping hand in the upgrade of the standard of living of Fijians in a Nadi community and the donation of equipment to front line workers.

It is one of the country’s premier companies when it comes to LED lighting, office furniture, wall decor, office carpets, play centers, school furniture, tents and marquees and office chairs.

Managing Director Ashfaaq Khan is now encouragin­g all Fijians to improve their domestic lives during these trying times. “Due to COVID-19, people are now spending more time at home and this should be beneficial to them,” Mr Khan said.

“It is encouraged that one ought to use this time to improve their domestic lives and strive to improve the moral training of their children.

“Furthermor­e, families should watch the various beneficial YouTube programs together.

“Most importantl­y, everyone should turn their attention to prayer and seeking forgivenes­s.”

Mr Khan said the media industry plays an important part in molding society and they should understand their responsibi­lities and promote good moral teaching during these pandemic

Meanwhile Mr Khan, who is also the president of M A h ñ Community Policing Committee, has organised a road check point with youths from the area actively involved in combating crime at night. Al Hamd recently installed 10 solar street lights at M A Khan Road to help in the prevention of crime
