Tagituimua in NSW Cup debut
Kaiviti Silktails captain, Penioni Tagituimua, makes his NSW Cup debut today. The Fijian Bati international was drafted into the North Sydney Bears line-up to face Mounties at 4pm. The Bears are the feeder club for the Sydney Roosters.
The Kadavu native who plays hooker has been in sensational form, playing in all seven games of the Ron Massey Cup competition, for the Silktails. His consistency has rewarded him the welldeserved selection for the Bears. Tagituimua’s team-mate Vuate Karawalevu made his Flegg Jersey debut for the Roosters Under-21 side. two weeks ago, where he scored a try as they beat Parramatta Eels 28-20.
