Tagituimua in NSW Cup debut

Kaiviti Silktails captain, Penioni Tagituimua, makes his NSW Cup debut today. The Fijian Bati internatio­nal was drafted into the North Sydney Bears line-up to face Mounties at 4pm. The Bears are the feeder club for the Sydney Roosters.

The Kadavu native who plays hooker has been in sensationa­l form, playing in all seven games of the Ron Massey Cup competitio­n, for the Silktails. His consistenc­y has rewarded him the welldeserv­ed selection for the Bears. Tagituimua’s team-mate Vuate Karawalevu made his Flegg Jersey debut for the Roosters Under-21 side. two weeks ago, where he scored a try as they beat Parramatta Eels 28-20.
