The Digicel Women Super League 2021 will resume from October 30.

This was confirmed yesterday by Fiji Football Association competitions manager, Amitesh Pal.

Pal said they had six rounds of competition to be played when it was suspended due to the sudden outbreak of COVID-19.

“We are very fortunate that the virus has been contained due to a massive vaccination drive by the Ministry of Health,” he told Fiji FA Media.

Pal said they have revised the fixtures which will resume in October and conclude in early December.

“The Labasa Women side will resume their competition rounds from November 13 or 14 due to current quarantine restrictions when travelling to Vanua Levu.

“They will play two rounds of competition when they start travelling.”

Pal added that all players must be fully vaccinated to participate in the competition.

“Based on the Prime Minister’s announcement, all teams now can start their training in adherence to the Fiji FA COVID- 19 national protocol requirements,” he added.

Ba currently lead the points table followed by Labasa with Rewa and Suva still a threat.
