The stars show up in gilded glamour attire: Vogue
It was the first Monday in May, and that meant the Met Gala arrived! After taking 2020 off due to the COVID-19 pandemic and delaying the event until September last year, Met Gala was back on track- the fundraising gala for the Metropolitan Museum of Art’s Costume Institute in New York.
Regina King, Blake Lively, Ryan Reynolds and LinManuel Miranda were the co-chairs of Monday night’s (May 2) event, celebrating “In America: An Anthology of Fashion,” the second part of a major two-part exhibition at the museum exploring the roots of American fashion.
According to this year’s invitation, straight from Vogue editor Anna Wintour, this year’s event is a white-tie affair with an emphasis on “Gilded
Glamour.”
