SITUATION: A trough of low pressure with associated cloud and showers is expected to affect the group from today till Friday. Meanwhile, an east to southerly wind flow prevails over Fiji.

FORECAST TO MIDNIGHT TONIGHT FOR THE FIJI GROUP: Occasional showers and isolated thunderstorms over the greater Suva, Nausori and Tailevu area, Serua, Namosi, Naitiasiri, Kadavu, Lau and Lomaiviti group, southern parts of Cakaudrove and Bua provinces. Cloudy periods with afternoon showers and possible thunderstorms elsewhere. Moderate easterly to southerly winds. Winds becoming more south to southeasterly later. Moderate seas. OUTLOOK FOR THURSDAY: Occasional showers and isolated thunderstorms over the greater Suva, Nausori and Tailevu area, Serua, Namosi, Naitiasiri, Kadavu, Lau and Lomaiviti group, southern parts of Cakaudrove and Bua provinces. Cloudy periods with afternoon showers and possible thunderstorms elsewhere.
