- LEONE CABENATABUA SUVA

The Fiji Airways Fijian men’s 7s team have been working on their restarts and defence as they prepare for the Toulouse and London tournaments.

Team captain Tevita Daugunu said yesterday they were training hard and had learned a lot from their Cup final loss to Argentina in Vancouver.

“We’re working on our kick offs especially when receiving the ball,” he said.

Daugunu said the inclusion of veterans Semi Kunatani and Vatemo Ravouvou have boosted their preparations.

“We really need their experience and for us about 80 per cent of boys are new to the series and it has been a new environment for us,” he added. Edited by Naisa Koroi*
