‘Influence others to succeed’
Knowing how to influence people to succeed is a key part of leadership. This was a message by the Nadi Police Officer in Charge, Saerupepeli Nakita to prefects’ of Andrews Primary School in Nadi yesterday.
“Be a leader that influences others to succeed,” he said.
“At the end of the day, these are your peers and you are all young and still learning many things in life. So if you find someone who has strayed a bit out of line, use your position to positively influence their lives.”
Head teacher, Dharmendra Reddy reminded the prefects’ that the badge they were wearing comes with its responsibilities.
Ane Taupule was badged head girl and Lawrence Binal Sen is the head boy.
