FRIENDS CELEBRATE EID AFTER TWO YEARS OF COVID-19 CONSTRAINTS

For a group of close friends in Ba the COVID-19 pandemic had disrupted plans to celebrate Eid for the past two years This year was different as the group of seven friends were able to meet and celebrate along with their families. The friends, Neha Prakash, Priyashna Chand, Nikita Singh, Rakshay Kumar, Zahrah Zafirah, Achal Kumar and Faizah Fazrin reside in the Yalalevu, Qerelevu, Koronubu and Toge area. They gathered to celebrate Eid at Nailaga on Tuesday. Ms Zafirah said her family couldn’t hold back the joy in preparing the household to welcome her guests because it had been two long years waiting to finally celebrate Eid.
