Tuiloa honoured to be a board of director
To be nominated to the Fiji Rugby Union (FRU) board of directors is an honour says former Suva Rugby Union secretary Tevita Tuiloa.
After five years with SRU, Tuiloa was the only nomination for the seat during the FRU Annual general Meeting on April 23 at the Grand Pacific Hotel.
Tuiloa replaces Jay White who had served his four year term on the board.
“Now it’s on to the next step hopefully we can improve wherever we can and add value to the board with all the experience we got here with Suva rugby,” Tuiloa said.
“At the end of the day it’s about building more pathways for players and assisting unions in terms of their financial compliance and sponsorship,” he said.
“Those are some of the things
I hope I can add to the board on how we can lift our unions from where they are moving up financially and also commercially.
“I’m really honoured to be nominated.
“I think our success for Suva rugby was a team effort not only because of one person,” he added.
