Minister Faiyaz Koya added that:

Turmeric increased by 254 per cent compared to 2019 and 62 per cent compared to 2020;

Spices increased by 175 per cent compared to 2019 and 45 per cent compared to 2020;

Insulated wire, cable and other insulated electric conductors increased by 68.4 per cent compared to 2020.

Potato chips and other assorted snacks increased by 42 per cent compared to 2020;

Mineral water increased by 40.2 per cent compared to 2020 and 7 per cent compared to 2019;

Wood and chips or particles increased by 35 per cent compared to 2020 and 99 per cent compared to 2019.

Molasses actually increased by 29.8 per cent compared to 2020 and 86 per cent compared to 2019;

Kava increased by 29 per cent compared to 2019 while there was a 4 per cent decline compared to 2020.
