Yasawas, Mamanucas for Music Director
Mohammed Akif is the director of Procera Music Fiji. Through his work in the past 30 years in the music industry, the Nadi-born man has travelled to many places in Fiji to record all types of music from artists.
Mr Akif said he especially enjoyed his trips to the island and the beaches and exquisite village hospitality and food.

I have been to all the places in Fiji through my work trips.
What is the one place in Fiji you would take visitors to, and why?
Taveuni. We organised for the artists to be there to witness the rising of the sun in the new millennium and it was a beautiful sight to see.
What is place for why?
your favourite coffee/pie, and
The Coffee Hub Café in my hometown. It has a nice setting that makes you enjoy your cup of coffee better.
What is your favourite backyard spot, and why?
I love watching just listening to music to relax. soccer or soothing
What is one place in Fiji that remains on your bucket list, and why?
The Yasawas and the Mamanuca Group. It would be the perfect place to take the artists to for another get together and enjoy the beautiful natural surroundings.
