The prefects of Tokaimalo District School were reminded that that anyone found bullying or breaking school rules will be de-badged.

This warning came from their head teacher, Jitendra Kumar.

The school which was established in 1952 is located in the interior of Ra Province in Viti Levu.

“If any leader is found bullying, breaking school rules and not performing to our expectation he/she will be warned twice and at the third time we de-badge you,” Mr Kumar said.

“You have to set a good example for others to follow.”

An ex-scholar of the school, Assistant Superintendent of Police (ASP) Crime Branch Western, Nagata Batidegei, was chief guest at the prefect induction on Tuesday.

Mr Batidegei encouraged student heads to follow a life of discipline.

Amani Turaganivalu Ratulevu was inducted as head boy and Minikiti Tetoriki as head girl of the school.

Amani said being given an opportunity to lead was a blessing from God.

“I will do my best to show good examples to the students,” he said.

Head girl, Minikiti, wanted to set a good example to students.

“God, my parents and teachers will help me to lead by example,” she said.
