Blockbuster winger Onisi Ratave has penciled his name on the Round 12 Super Rugby Pacific Dream Team.

Fans casted their votes on the Rugby Pass Super Rugby Pacific Dream Team platform which closed yesterday for the Round 12 pick.

The Naqarani, Noco, Rewa native was named amongs 14 other world class players.

As of yesterday he was been voted the best blind side winger at number 14 after the 12th round against Hurricanes.

Ratave currently leads the Swire Shipping Fijian Drua’s try scoring list with six tries.

He is followed by flying winger Vinaya Habosi with four tries.

(lock) Tupou Vaai (Chiefs), 6. (flanker) Dalton Papali’I (Blues), 7. (flanker) 8. Hoskins Sotutu (Blues), 9. (scrum half) Aaron

Smith (Highlanders), 10. (flyhalf) Richie Mo’unga (Crusaders), 11, (wing) Leicester Fainga’anuku (Crusaders),

12. (centre) Rodger Tuivasa-Sheck (Blues), 13. Rieko Iowane (Blues),

14. (winger) Onisi Ratave (Drua),

15. (fullback) Will Jordan (Crusaders).

Ratave’s explosive power, ball handling skills and speed makes him a vital player but in a zoom interview with head coach Mick Byrne on Tuesday, Bryne stated that his (Ratave) injury has been keeping away.

Given an opportunity this Saturday, Ratave will give Moana Pasifika center Levi Aumua a good run for his money.

It will be a battle of power, physicality and good running lines.

Then Ratave offers more options for the Drua at centre, where he keeps the opposition guessing.

His combination with Ravouvou at centre provides the much-needed catalyst to get us that second Super Rugby win.

Ratave who came off the bench against the Hurricanes finished the match gaining 30 meters with six tackles and a try.

He runs at the game line with good speed and power.

In his natural position Ratave will provide competition in the midfield.
