VULARIKA RETURNS TO OLD CLUB
Former Swire Shipping Fijian Drua utility back has returned to his previous club LA Giltinis in the Major League Rugby in the United States.
This was confirmed yesterday by Suva manager Nemani Tuifagalele.
Vularika had played for
Suva in last week’s 21-18 win over Nadroga at the ANZ Stadium after he returned to Fiji following his termination from the Swire Shipping Fijian Drua camp; this was due to indiscipline in March.
“He departed for the US yesterday (Tuesday),” Tufagalele said.
He was named in the Drua squad in September last year for the Super Rugby Pacific 2022 season.
LA Giltinis first signed Vularika for the last half of the 2021 Major League Rugby season.
He was also captain of
Fijian Latui in the only Global Rapid Rugby match the team played in 2020 before the cancellation of the season due to the pandemic.
He made his debut in June 2016 against Tonga in Suva and the last test against Georgia in the Autumn Nations Cup on 5 December 2020 at Murrayfield, Scotland.
He also played for the Flying Fijian against the Barbarians.
