Tuiteci wants to champion iTaukei, land issues
If Fijians want to preserve their ethnicity, the time to vote wisely is this election says Seremaia Tuiteci.
Mr Tuiteci is the provisional candidate for the Social Democratic Liberal Party (SODELPA) for Ba West Constituency.
He says he aims to use his strength in the political realm to strongly voice issues on iTaukei land and resources.
“This election, if you do not vote for SODELPA, you are gone. The key day for the Fijian people in terms of controlling their land and other resources is this general election,” Mr Tuiteci said.
His message to voters is to vote wisely.
“I am telling the voters of this country if you want Fiji to improve, this is the last chance.
“If they want to preserve their ethnicity, the time to vote wisely is this election,” he said,.
The Yasawa native, 64, is the father of five children and a grandfather to 14 grandchildren.
Last year the former civil servant launched his autobiography, which speaks more of his life in the civil service and working with the late former Prime Minister Laisenia Qarase.
Mr Tuiteci was also charged for allegedly condemning the reality of COVID-19 through his Facebook account with the intent to create alarm and public anxiety.
