FROM STEPHEN R. COVEY’S DAILEY REFLECTIONS FOR HIGHLY EFFECTIVE PEOPLE
AND LIVING THE 7 HABITS OF HIGHLY EFFECTIVE PEOPLE EVERYDAY
Treasures of wickedness profit nothing, but righteousness delivers from death. Proverbs 10:2
1. It is one thing to make a mistake, and quite another thing not to admit it.
People will forgive mistakes, because mistakes are usually of the mind, mistakes of judgment. But people will not easily forgive the mistakes of the heart, the ill intention, the bad motives, the prideful justifying cover-up of the first mistake.
FROM THE BIBLE: GOD’S
WORD, BELIEVE IT, DO IT
For GOD hath not given us the spirit of fear, but of power, and of love, and of a sound mind. II Timothy 1:7
