Sabeto College head boy Nimesh Chand says that maintaining discipline at all times has paid dividends.

The 18-year-old made those comments when he was badged during the 2022 Sabeto College prefects’ induction ceremony this week.

He thanked his mother Subhana Devi for always guiding him to become a better person.

“I thank the teachers for having trust in me to lead the school,” said Nimesh, who is a pure science student and wants to be a civil engineer in the future.

In 2020, he was the captain of Nadi football U16 team that won the western league.

Head girl Emily Osborne said: “I was shocked to be named the head girl of the school this year. I thought to myself it may be due to my performance and that’s why the teachers elected me.”

The lass from Nasaqalau, Lakeba, Lau thanked college principal Shelly Imran and the teachers for giving her this privilege.

The 18-year-old science student wants to be an aircraft engineer.

Chief Guest, Promex Consulting PTE Limited director Lawrence Kumar urged the student council to dream big, and not let anyone discourage them from achieving their goals.

” You all have special skills, and it is only you who can realize it,” he said.
