“We were also privileged to be given a very highly visible spot amongst some of the bigger names in the rourism industry,” he said.
“We value our partnership with Tourism Fiji and would like to acknowledge them for taking us on board.
“For us as a business, having a key stakeholder such as Tourism Fiji, in RECOGNISING EFFORTS IS VERY SIGNIficant.”
He said the expo was an eye opener.
“One of the biggest takeaways from the expo was the fact that tourism industry stakeholders had come on board with what we have been trying to advocate for a very long time,” he said.
“Recycling does not have to be an activity that is tucked away in the backyard of a hotel or resort property.
“Many of our visitors come from countries where recycling is practiced as the norm.
“Having Waste Recyclers Fiji Ltd’s I-Recycle Hub at the forefront of the property assures each guest that the hotel or resort is committed to being a responsible player in the tourism business.”
