New Fiji Futsal coach arrives, ready to deliver

Former Solomon Islands Futsal coach Jerry Sam is the latest addition to the list of expatriate coaching staff at the Fiji Football Association.

Sam is here to coach our national Futsal team.

Sam is no stranger to Fiji Football having been the technical advisor for the national

team in 2019.

He arrived in the country on Thursday night.

Sam is expected to not only spearhead the development of the sport in the country but also assemble a powerful national Futsal team for future international assignments.

He is passionate about the sport and played a huge role in the Solomon Islands meteoric rise in Futsal

“I’m really excited to be back here again and looking forward to moving Futsal to newer heights,” he told Fiji FA Media

“I have seen a lot of potential here and if proper guidance is given I am sure Fiji will excel in Futsal.

“Fiji is my home now and my family,” he added.
