Community wants more Police presence after a series of break-ins

The Koronivia community in Nausori is pleading for more Police presence after there were several breakins in the last three weeks, including at the Durga Mata Mandir temple. Prem Kumari (pictured showing the damage to the temple), who is in charge of the Durga Mata Mandir said on Sunday evening they were shocked to find their God statues on the ground. “We are sad and hurt by what has happened and we hope that the culprits stop doing such things because we need to respect each other’s religion,” she said.
