Faulty streetlights

After numerous complaints to the relevant authority regarding the faulty streetlight at the Cannery St roundabout, it’s still not fixed. Maybe the safety of the public, especially children, is not paramount hence they are taking a lifetime to fix it.
Or is there another reason?
