HILL: FIJI PUNCHES ABOVE WEIGHT

-

Fiji continues to punch above its weight, Tourism Fiji chief executive officer, Brent Hill, said.

He made the comment following an invitation to Expedia Travel Summit in Sydney last week, where he spoke about on Fiji’s tourism recovery strategy.

“It is amazing to see Fiji continue to punch above our weight, so much so we are praised for the work that we do,” he said.

Meanwhile, Tourism Fiji joined several other Fijian industry partners at the Scuba Show 2022 in Long Beach, California, USA.

Tourism Fiji also featured live on Scuba Radio, where Mr Hill spoke about the ‘Open for Happiness’ campaign.

“The Fiji stalls were abuzz with hundreds of walk-ins who attended the two-day event,” Tourism Fiji said.

“Some people came to gather information to firm up their plans to visit Fiji while others stopped by to share their stories of their dive experiences in Fiji.”

Eight Fiji dive partners were present at the show:

Paradise Taveuni

Volivoli Beach Resort Waidroka Bay Resort

The Pearl Resort, Spa & Golf Course

Nai’a

AquaTrek (Ultimate Fiji Vacations)

Beqa Lagoon Resort.
