Top Guns for Kumuls Test

Our top National Rugby League (NRL) players have been included in the 30-member Fijian Bati squad for it’s Pacific Test clash against the Papua New Guinea Kumuls on June 25.

Bati head coach Josaia Rabele announced the squad yesterday with six-local based players while one is from France.

The rest of the squad are playing in the NRL, NSW Cup, Queensland Cup and the Country rugby league competitio­n in Australia. A surprise omission are Jacob and Daniel Saifiti of the Newcastle Knights.

Rabele said the match marks the start of the final phase of their preparatio­n towards the Rugby League World Cup in England from October 15 to November 19.
