LABASA POWER SUPPLY

I thank Energy Fiji Limited (EFL) for giving us a stable supply of power throughout the year.

It is only during the crushing season that we do have a few blackouts. Sometimes during the crushing no engines are running in the EFL power station.

I humbly ask the chief executive of the Fijian Competition and Consumer Commission (FCCC) to reduce the electricity charges for Labasa customers during the crushing season. I am sure he can do this very easily.

To my friend Hasmukh, I should have called you ‘The Goat’, which means ‘The Greatest of All Time’ chief executive officer.
